Effective January 1, 2000, Cherry Aerospace has extended the installation tool warranty FROM 90 DAYS TO ONE YEAR. This warranty applies to tools that are sold on a direct basis or through authorized distributors to the end user. The warranty period begins on the date shown in the installation tool warranty (see Appendix A).
Effective January 1, 2000, the following statement was added to Cherry Aerospace's installation tool warranty:The foregoing warranty does not apply to any parts or components used with the product which are not manufactured and/or approved by Cherry Aerospace, nor does it apply to any damage caused to the product or the failure of the product to operate as warranted, as a result of the use of any part or component which is not manufactured and/or approved by Cherry Aerospace.

Cherry Aerospace Warranty Repair Policy Effective
January 1, 2000, all tools being returned to Cherry Aerospace for warranty repair must be accompanied by proof
of purchase from Cherry Aerospace or from a Cherry Aerospace authorized distributor.
The proof of purchase must clearly indicate the name of the
buying organization, the name of the selling organization,
and the date of purchase.
Cherry Aerospace Non-Warranty Repair Policy
Effective January 1, 2000, all non-warranty repairs of Cherry Aerospace tools will be referred to the appropriate authorized distributors. Cherry Aerospace itself will no longer perform these repairs.
A partial list of names, locations and telephone numbers of repair-capable authorized Cherry Aerospace distributors is provided on the attached sheet.

Cherry Aerospace Installation Tool Warranty
Cherry Aerospace, hereby warrants to the initial retail customer ("Warrantee") only that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship, provided that the products are used in accordance with Cherry Aerospace's instructions as to maintenance, operation and use. The foregoing warranty does not apply to any parts or components used with the product which are not manufactured and/or approved by Cherry Aerospace, nor does it apply to any damage caused to the product or the failure of the product to operate as warranted, as a result of the use of any part or component which is not manufactured and/or approved by Cherry Aerospace. The duration of the foregoing warranty is limited to 12 months from the date of first use by the warrantee for Cherry power installation tools and 90 days for pulling heads, adapters, extensions and other components of the Cherry installation tool fastening systems.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CHERRY AEROSPACE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ALL INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY DEFECT OR FAILURE IN ITS PRODUCT. CHERRY AEROSPACE FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY RESULTING IN USER'S CHOICE OF ITS PRODUCT FOR ANY APPLICATION.
